UK viewers will see the first in the long awaited series four series of Hotel Babylon tonight. It starts at 9pm on BBC1 and will see some cast changes over the series (including Emma).

In the UK series 4 is due to start on Friday the 19th of June 2009 at 9:00 PM on BBC 1. However, series 4 premiered in April 2009 in Poland on a cable channel TVN Style.

New cast members include Nigel Harman as new hotel owner, Sam Franklin, Anna Wilson-Jones as general manager, Juliet Miller and Amy Nuttall as new receptionist Melanie Hughes.

Upcoming guests include Preeya Kalidas, Chris Bisson, Ernest Ignatius, Abi Titmuss, Ben Fogle, Patrick Baladi, Honor Blackman, Tony Robinson, Michael Winner, Christopher Cazenove, Frances Barber, Alex Zane, Denise Van Outen, James Fleet, Janet Ellis, Darius Danesh, Kelly Osbourne, John Savident, Hugh Dennis and Michelle Collins.

Max Beesley will return for a guest appearance in the series.

Emma Pierson in Hotel Babylon

Coming very soon is the new series of Hotel Babylon on BBC1. Scraping around Wikipedia shares a lot of info on this including Emma’s character leaving during this 4th series.

Emma Pierson as Anna Thornton-Wilton, the Head Receptionist. Anna slept with Charlie shortly before they began their current jobs and, during the first series, narrowly avoids being sacked after having sex with a guest then taking his money. During the second series she gatecrashes a party after stealing a costume from the duchess of Cirencester. She also dresses up as a reporter to an actor. Leaves during the fourth series (shown early 2009).

It did read somewhere that the Serial will start this month, though it is not yet listed in any TV guides, so will probably air next month.
